Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it via the "Get your results by email" banner. Used solely to deliver your analysis summary.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. matchjob.io never sees your card details.
• Access token — a random token stored in your browser's localStorage after purchase, used to unlock premium output. It contains no personal data.
• Usage counter — a cookie counting your free scans this month. Resets monthly. No personal data.
• Analytics — anonymous usage events via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics (page views, feature interactions). No personally identifiable information is transmitted.

What we do NOT collect or store

• Your resume or CV text
• Job descriptions you paste
• The analysis results (scores, optimized resume, cover letter, LinkedIn rewrite)

All analysis runs in memory and is discarded immediately after the response is returned to your browser.

Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous analytics. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosting and anonymous analytics. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — used to generate the optimized resume and cover letter. Input text is processed under Anthropic's API terms and is not used for training.

Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie to track your free monthly scan count. No tracking or advertising cookies are set by matchjob.io directly.

Data retention

Email addresses submitted voluntarily are retained until you request deletion. Payment records are held by Stripe per their retention policy. Usage counters reset monthly and are not logged.
